Cleveland police are investigating a homicide on the city's east side early Sunday morning.
Police said the shooting happened shortly after midnight near E. 79th and St. Clair Avenue.
The victim, Jerome Norman, 34, of Cleveland, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he later died.
Police are still investigating what led to the shooting.
