Two Solon teenagers assaulted a 12-year-old boy; one shot him with a BB gun, according to Solon police.
The victim was walking home the week of June 3 when a 14- and a 15-year-old boy rode up on bicycles. One of the teen boys allegedly told the 12-year-old to run then pulled out a BB gun and shot him in the leg. Police reports listed this as a felonious assault.
Officers confiscated two BB guns from the teenagers. They were referred to the Solon juvenile officer.
