Warrensville Hts postal worker indicted for allegedly stealing hundreds of gift cards from the mail

A postal worker from Warrensville Heights was indicted on Thursday for stealing more than 250 gift cards from the mail while working at the post office located at 2400 Orange Ave. in Cleveland, according to authorities.

Monique Wheeler, 54, of Warrensville Heights, was indicted on one count of theft of mail after she allegedly took letters, packages and gift cards with various amounts from July 2017 to September 2017, according to the Department of Justice.

The gift cards include were from dozens of stores such as Aldi, Applebee's, Bob Evans, Chipotle, Target and several others.
