Anyone expecting to ride RTA trains will be in for a surprise Saturday, as a mechanical issue has forced the Rapid Transit Authority to replace all trains along the Rapid lines with shuttle buses.
RTA authorities say customers should wait at the rail stations to be picked up by buses. 66R buses will serve the Red Line and 67R buses will serve the Green, Blue and Waterfront lines.
Power crews are investigating the mechanical issue that forced the train closure, and are working to restore service as soon as possible.
The closure could influence commuters who attended the Cleveland Indians game, which began at 4:20 p.m. after a rain delay.
