Teen shot in leg after being robbed at gunpoint on city's east side, forced to strip naked

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg on Brush Avenue in Euclid early Wednesday morning.

Euclid police said that teen was shot in the leg around 2:35 a.m. on the 26500 block of Brush Avenue.

When officers arrived they said they used a tourniquet to stop the bleeding as they awaited the arrival of an ambulance.

The teen was naked and started banging on nearby apartment doors for help.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown. 

At the hospital, the teen told police that he had been robbed at gunpoint outside an alley near an apartment complex.

He told police the suspects made him strip naked. When the teen ran, the suspects shot him.

Euclid police were seen combing the area for evidence and said they had followed a very lengthy blood trail throughout the apartment complex.

The victim described the suspects as two black males who were wearing all black, each approximately 5'7" and weighing around 160 pounds.
