Westlake police have two misdemeanor petty theft warrants out for Stepfanie Eshack, 29, suspected of stealing tip jars from a Starbucks and a sandwich shop.
Police reported Eshack, believed to be from Norton, stole tip jars off the counters at a Westlake Starbucks on March 21 and from the Westlake Jersey Mike's store on March 7.
According to police, Eshack pled no contest to a petty theft charge in Garfield Heights Municipal Court on March 23. She also pled no contest to a receiving stolen property charge in Rocky River Municipal Court on March 15.
Police said West Shore business owners should be wary of Eshack's behavior, should she visit their stores. She is known to hang around without making a purchase until the staff are all occupied, then grabs tip jars and runs out, usually to a waiting car.
