A man was arrested at Kalahari after videos on social media showed him throwing an egg at a deputy's cruiser.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, deputies found a video from on Twitter showing a man holding a phone in one hand and throwing an egg off a balcony at Kalahari with the other. The sound of the impact the egg makes on the car can be heard in the video, deputies said. They said the man in the video cheers and yells, "Connection."
In another video from @JaggerOwca, the man tapes himself throwing an egg off the balcony. In this video, officials said audio can also be heard of the egg hitting the cruiser. The man can also be heard saying, "F--- 12 bang bang," deputies said.
A series of tweets between @JaggerOwca and another Twitter handle brag about hitting the cruiser and a deputy responding to the wrong room to investigate where the egg came from, according to officials.
Deputies discovered that Jagger Owca was the person associated with @JaggerOwca and the man who threw the egg.
When deputies responded to the room and found Owca, he initially denied throwing the egg, according to officials. Deputies said they played the video for him and then he admitted to the incident.
Owca repeatedly stated that he was stupid and made a mistake, according to deputies. He also told authorities he was surprised he made contact with the cruiser and admitted to drinking at the time he threw the egg. Deputies said he apologized for his actions without being asked any questions from deputies.
Owca also admitted to making the "bang bang" statement but said he did not mean it as a threat. However, he did say he understood how it could be perceived as a threat.
Jagger was arrested and continually apologized for the incident, deputies said.
Jagger was charged with vandalism and a judge gave him a $10,000 bond.
