Jumping the counter, screwdriver in hand, Victor Welch, is in Lake County Jail accused of attacking an employee for painkillers.
The surveillance video tells the story. People are shown waiting for prescriptions until a man jumps over the counter, confronts the technician and pushes her into the back.
"He held a screwdriver up to her neck and demanded Percocet," said Lt. John Forsythe with Mentor on the Lake Police.
According to police, she let him grab a full bottle.
"As he was leaving the pharmacy he was putting them in his mouth," Lt. Forsythe said.
Mentor and Mentor on the Lake Police worked together to track the man down. Through witness tips and calls they arrested and charged suspect Victor Welch.
"We charged him with aggravated robbery, more charges will be filed," Lt. Forsythe said.
There is a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 26th. Victor Welch is currently being held on $100,000 bond.
