A change to immunizations requirements for students entering grades 7 through 12 have been released, the Lorain County General Health District reported on Friday.
Students entering the seventh grade will be required to have received a dose of meningococcal vaccine, and students entering their senior year of high school will need to get a second dose of the vaccine, according to the LCGHD.
LCGHD reported twelfth-graders who received a dose of the meningococcal vaccine after the age of 16 will not be required to receive a second dose.
