Recently creepy clowns have been popping up in multiple states. While most of the incidents have taken place in Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina and recently Pennsylvania, the latest is a little closer to home - in southern Lorain County.
Wellington's police officer Lt. Shelton issued a warning to anyone thinking about partaking in the 'clowning' on Facebook:
The warning is in light of the 'clowning' trend that has been reported across the country, where people have been dressing up as clowns and acting menacing towards members of the community.
