Around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, officers responded to a home in the 600 block of Lafayette Road for a shooting following a phone call from a juvenile who said his father just shot his mother and grandmother, police said.

The Medina County SWAT team was called up and made entry into the home where the two women were found dead. The suspect wasn’t on the premises.

Dick, 52, was taken into custody after a manhunt and is charged with one count of aggravated murder. Additional charges will be presented to a Medina County grand jury.
