Buehler Food Markets, Inc. announced Tuesday that it will close its location on Center Road in Brunswick.

The store will close on Oct. 21.

According to the company, the closure comes after they deliberate ond "Buehler’s entire portfolio of stores, and the opportunity to consider lease options."

"As the company continued to add stores, remodel and refresh their current base of stores, they had some hard decisions with respect to underperforming stores," a press release from the company reads.

About 125 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees will be affected by the closure.

President and COO Dan Shanahan said the company will work with those workers to transfer to another location or attain a position with another company.
