Two suspects were arrested after leading Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on a multi-city car chase.
On Tuesday around 1:40 p.m., the OSHP was involved in a car chase on Interstate 71, which started in Medina County.
OSHP said the suspect car was entered as stolen. Troopers attempted to stop the car and a chase began. Troopers from the Medina Post, Cleveland Metro Post, and Elyria post participated in the chase.
According to OSHP, the car traveled north on I-71 to Interstate 480, then west on I-480 until it became OH-10 just before turning into US-20 in Lorain County. The chase ended near LaGrange Road in Lorain County when one suspect stopped the car in the middle of the US-20 westbound lanes.
OSHP reported a felony stop was conducted and both suspects were arrested. The suspects were confirmed to be the suspects listed in the original 'BOLO' (be on the look out) alert for the stolen car.
Both the driver and the passenger in the car had other active warrants for their arrests, OSHP said. Charges are pending.
