They'll be talking about this one down on the farm for a while. Over the weekend a farmer in Medina Township assisted police in rescuing a pit bull from a ravine.
Police were called to the 3300 block of Hood Road on Saturday, June 2, to help a resident rescue her pit bull from a ravine. According to police, the elderly dog had wandered down into a 100-foot ravine and was unable to climb out. Officers requested assistance from a nearby resident who was operating a farm tractor.
The good Samaritan used his tractor to pull the pit bull and its owner back to high land.
The dog was unharmed.
