The Walmart in Medina has offered a Marine a heated tent in which to collect donations for the county's Toys for Tots program, Lynn Harkness tells newsnet5.com.
The Harknesses sat down with the Walmart manager Monday, they said, and a regional supervisor. The store promised a better system for collecting donations.
The store came under fire over the weekend after a woman posted a photo of the Marine collecting donations outside and a note that he was no longer allowed to collect inside the store.
