Ohio residents are planning on gathering Saturday to show their opposition to the Nexus Pipeline in Medina.
According to Sustainable Medina County, the protest is set to begin at 1 p.m. in Medina's square.
The group says the protest is in response to the Environmental Impact Statement that was released by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on November 30.
The proposed 256-mile pipeline would cross ten Ohio counties and transport fracked natural gas to a refinery in Ontario, Canada.
