A man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl in Randolph Township on Monday.
On Saturday police responded to a home in Ravenna Township to a report of a sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl. Coleman P. Peace, 26, of Randolph Township was identified as a person of interest. After police interviewed him, Peace was taken into custody on Saturday night.
Peace has been charged with rape of a child under the age of 10, which is a first-degree felony. He is currently being held at the Portage County Jail without bond.
Peace was arraigned on Monday afternoon at 1:15 p.m.
