A Mansfield man claimed he was kidnapped for two days and then released, according to a police report.
A man, 42, told police he was walking through a parking lot on the 1440 block of Lexington Avenue in Mansfield, which houses a number of businesses, when he says he was abducted by several men and taken to an unknown residence on Thursday.
The suspects then held him against his will for two days while threatening to stab him and tying him to a chair, according to police.
The victim told police the men stole his cell phone, $480 and a debit card. The men also took his green Buick LeSabre.
The victim said he was released on Friday afternoon by one of the men and ran to his parents' residence where he then went to the police station for help.
