SHILOH, Ohio — A 16-year-old high school student was taken into custody Tuesday by deputies from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly leaving a threatening note in a bathroom.

On Tuesday morning authorities responded to Crestview High School in Shiloh after a note was discovered that stated, “I can’t wait for the bomb to go off today.”

Deputies said they narrowed down three possible culprits who were caught on camera entering the bathroom. One of the students confessed to leaving the note to “get help for some issues that he has been dealing with,” according to the incident report.

The student was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation.

Authorities said that a request for charges has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for consideration.
