A 17-year-old girl was injured when she was struck by a car in the parking lot of a Summit County high school Tuesday morning.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, the 17-year-old Green High School student stepped in front of a 2001 Nissan Maxima as the car turned down a row in the lot around 7 a.m.
The car was driven by a 16-year-old female student.
The victim was transported to Akron Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
