The Summit County Sheriff's Office is asking residents to use the department's administrative line in lieu of 911 to report any emergencies due to a call center malfunction.
Authorities said crews are working to repair the issue.
Residents in the following communities are asked to call 330-643-2181 instead of 911 until further notice.

- Twinsburg Township
- Coventry Township
- City of Green
- Summit Metroparks
- Springfield Township
- Village of Lakemore
