CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Drivers may feel like every highway is under construction in the Akron area, but just wait. More orange barrels are on the way.
Starting Monday, Howe Avenue will be closed in Cuyahoga falls for about a month.
The exit ramps from Route 8 northbound to Howe Road and Howe Road to Route 8 southbound are closed.
The road will be shut down between Route 8 and Main Street.
For phase one of the project, crews will be tearing out the old concrete and laying new asphalt.
With as many as 22,000 drivers using the one-mile stretch daily, it will be a disruption.
