A Barberton man was arrested after police made a meth lab bust at a home on Saturday night, authorities said.
Thomas J. Harris, 43, was charged with illegal manufacture of drugs in connection with the bust.
According to police, officers visited a home, located at 149 2nd Street SW, as part of an investigation into drug activity.
Police were granted consent by residents to search the home, to which officers found components used in a meth lab in the garage.
As police continued to search the home, they found more components of the meth lab, along with meth, in a bedroom next to a child's room.
The Summit County Drug Unit was called to the scene and cleaned up the meth lab.
Harris is being held in the Barberton City Jail.
