Multiple cars were set on fire in a New Franklin driveway overnight.

The New Franklin Fire Department responded to the fires at 12:23 a.m. Thursday. The vehicles were parked in the driveway at 6073 Taylor Road.

Residents got out of the home next to the driveway safely, but the heat from the fires melted the siding off the attached garage.

The Clinton Village Fire Department helped the New Franklin firefighters. The New Franklin Fire Department and Police Department have ruled the fires arson.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Franklin Police Department at 330-882-3281, or the New Franklin Fire Department at 330-882-3130.
