Multiple newly built homes caught fire in a Cuyahoga Falls housing development early Friday.
The fire, which broke out around 6 a.m., spread to four homes in the Hidden Lakes development.
According to Fire Chief Paul Moledor, two of the houses were under construction, one was vacant and one was occupied.
Fire officials say the fire started in one of the homes that was under construction and then spread to the others.
The residents living in the occupied home had already left the house when the fire started. That house only suffered damage to the siding.
Neighbors told newsnet5.com they heard a popping sound and then saw the flames.
No injuries were reported.
