A police officer's job isn't always about chasing the bad guys. It's also about community service, and for two Springfield Township officers who went above and beyond, it delved into animal relations.
In a video posted to the department's Facebook page on Saturday, Officer Laurenti and Sergeant East got "up close and personal" with a little fox who somehow got its head stuck in a chain link fence.
The officers were able to free the fox with some wire cutters.
