A group of Barberton high school students agreed to be pepper sprayed for the purposes of education last week.
The Criminal Science Technology class was pepper sprayed as part of a lesson into defensive tactics training.
Each student had the option to be swabbed or receive a quick “burst” to the facial area.
Prior to being sprayed, the students and their parents had to consent and sign a waiver.
Video of the experience was shared on YouTube. It shows the instructor going one-by-one down the line. Just seconds later, the pain sets in and students start screaming.
