Search continues for missing pregnant woman

Police are searching for a pregnant woman who has been missing since Monday.

On Tuesday at 3:36 a.m., Juan Gonzales called 911 requesting officers to his residence, according to authorities.

With the assistance of a translator, officers learned Gonzales was reporting a missing Hispanic woman, identified as Patrona Laynez Raymundo, 22, of Dover.

Raymundo was last seen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. when she left the residence on foot to an unknown location. police said.

Her boyfriend, Walter Diego Raymundo, received a text message later in the day that said, loosely translated, "you'll pay for your actions," according to officials.

Police said Raymundo was a Guatemalan woman that was four months pregnant. She was last seen wearing green leggings and a black hoodie.

Authorities worked with Verizon Wireless to ping Raymundo's phone. Police said it indicated she was moving south.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is also assisting in the case.
