State Highway Patrol is looking for a driver involved in a horse-drawn buggy hit-skip.
The wreck caused at least one serious injury on Congress Road north of Ruff Road in West Salem. The incident happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials believe the car involved was a champagne-colored 2001 Honda Accord. The car was driving behind the buggy, which had one adult and several children inside. Officials say a total of five people were in the buggy.
The buggy was hit from the back, forcing it off the side of the road and into a ditch, according to Highway Patrol. The driver left the scene.
Four of the five people in the buggy were taken to Lodi Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One child was was taken to Lodi Hospital and then transported to Akron Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
