A school bus carrying nine children was struck by a semi-tractor trailer in Wooster Township on Friday, sending all the passengers aboard to Wooster Community Hospital for treatment.

Around 11:30 a.m., a semi-trailer was driving south and preparing to merge onto SR83 from US-250 when the truck ran a stop sign and hit the yellow school bus on SR83, according to reports from the highway patrol.

When the bus was hit, it spun around in the middle of the game and slammed into the concrete median. The crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
