Orrville police are searching for a driver they believe struck a decorative light pole near the Starfire Gas Station on North Main Street.
The department posted a "Case Alert" on Facebook following the discovery of the hit-skip:

The car left behind a headlight, police said, and it appears to be a Nissan Maxima made between 1995 and 1999.
The crash was overnight Friday or early Saturday morning. The driver likely had heavy front-end damage and the pole was completely knocked over.
