Superheroes wash windows at Akron Children's Hospital

Not all heroes wear capes. The ones that visited the Akron Children’s Hospital Thursday, however, do.

A group of “grime” fighters including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain America and more took over the window-washing duties at the hospital, and delighted children with visits and gift bags, according to a news release from hospital representatives.

The heroes rappelled down the six-story building in true superhero fashion, “mastering the squeegee, while hamming it up for onlookers,” hospital officials said.
