Robbed and killed in Lorain's Taco Bell drive thru lane, 49-year-old Robert Gnizak was ordering food when a man ran up to his car.
Gnizak got out of the car, the man took what he could, shot Gnizak and ran off.
Robert Gnizak's friends told NewsChannel 5 he was helping a friend with their Sunday paper route, stopping at Taco Bell before heading out.
"He would give you the shirt off his back. He was one of the nicest guys you'd ever know," Lisa Suta said.
Lorain Police said Gnizak never could have prepared for what happened when he pulled into the drive thru.
"It was a crime of opportunity that resulted in a completely innocent person being killed," Captain Watkins said.
Now, police are looking for the man who pulled the trigger.Witnesses gave a description, it's vague, but we are sharing for public safety concerns.
"A black male, around 6 foot tall. Yellow or tan shirt, khaki or tan pants...the person who did this is quite clearly a very dangerous person," Captain Watkins added.
