Senior year of High School is a rite of passage that includes many unforgettable moments, like prom and graduation—moments the Class of 2020 will not get to experience as scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To recognize seniors, schools across Ohio are taking some time and shining a light on the Class of 2020 Monday evening.

On April 20 at 8:20 p.m., schools across Ohio will turn on their stadium lights for 20 minutes and 20 seconds as a way to honor this year’s class, which has found itself missing out on many of the recognitions that normally come with one’s final year of high school.

Watch the stadiums light up below:

Some of the schools in Northeast Ohio participating in the event Monday include Wellington High School, Port Clinton High School and Bellevue High School. Several schools including Canton South High School and Louisville High School held the same event on Friday.

Anyone who would like to recognize the senior class can do so at home by turning on their porch light Monday night at 8:20 p.m. for 20 minutes and 20 seconds.
