Florida delegate trolls Cleveland and LeBron James during RNC roll call

The Cleveland Cavaliers may be NBA Champions, but that didn’t stop one Florida delegate from trolling the Cavs and LeBron James during roll call at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday.

When announcing Florida’s 99 pledged delegates for Donald Trump, a delegate added that Florida was the state that gave LeBron James his first two NBA Championships.

James infamously “took his talents to South Beach” and left his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat. After four straight NBA Finals appearances and two championships, James returned to the Cavaliers in 2014 and led Cleveland to its first major sports championship since 1964.

It’s been a rough week for Cleveland sports fans as their city hosts the RNC. On Monday, House Speaker Paul Ryan — a Green Bay Packers fan — was seen waving a Terrible Towel in support of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the arch rivals of the Cleveland Browns.
