What's your favorite dessert? If it's cheesecake, you're in luck.

July 30 is National Cheesecake Day!

In honor of this delicious, decadent day, The Cheesecake Factory is offering 'Any Slice, Half Price.'

No take out orders and only one slice per person. Saturday's the last day for the offer, so better hurry.

Here are some cheesecake facts you may not know:

According to, the first "cheese cake" may have been created over 4,000 years ago by the Greeks.

It was thought to be a good source of energy and evidence shows "cheese cake" was served to Greek athletes during the first Olympic games in 776 B.C.

New York-style cheesecake was invented in the late 1800's by a man who was invited to a dinner party, "where the hostess served a cheese pie. Allegedly, he was so intrigued by this dish that he experimented with the recipe until he came up with the beloved NY Style cheesecake."
