Jason and Kelli Fenley were hoping to add a new bundle of joy to their family -- but the Long Island, New York couple wasn’t expecting three babies at once.

The Fenleys introduced their identical triplets, Owen, Noah and Miles, in a Thursday news conference at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola. The babies were born July 1. Doctors say it’s a one-in-a-million birth.

“We won the genetic lottery,” Jason Fenley said. “It’s pretty cool.”

The babies, which were born seven weeks premature, spent 51 days in the NCIU and have been home for nearly a month. The triplets have an older brother, Aiden, 2.

The parents developed a system for keeping the boys looking sharp.

“We color-code them,” Kelli Fenley said. “Owen is blue, Noah is gray and Miles is green. We dress them in that color, and paint their toenails that particular color.”

Despite the adjustments, the Fenleys are excited to embark on life as a family of six.

“It’s going to be an adventure,” Jason Fenley said. “It’s going to be fun."
