A man entering a Painesville home was caught on camera burglarizing it. The homeowner caught it all on their webcam.
Painesville police posted a snap from the webcam on their Facebook page Thursday, and within hours, thousands had seen the post, according to Police Chief Anthony Powalie.
Powalie said they got a bunch of tips from people on their post, and thanks to those tips; they think they've got him.
"We have anonymous tips that were called in, we have tips on the page itself. We believe we've identified this suspect," Powalie said.
Police haven't released this man's identity yet, but said he faces third-degree felony charges and likely jail time.
