For more than 40 years St. Augustine in Tremont has served Greater Cleveland a Thanksgiving meal.
Thursday they prepared meals for about 20,000 people.
It takes 1,500 turkeys and hundreds of pounds of mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
Sister Corita Ambrose told News 5 most of the food is donated.
"Everyone that comes out says it was wonderful. I'm full. Im full. And that makes me happy as long as they're full and they go home full," Ambrose said.
Ambrose adding- today is about more than what's on the plate.
"It's not just a meal. It's a celebration," she said.
St. Augustine sends people home with a meal to-go and delivers thousands of meals to people who couldn't make it to a location to eat.
