Six-year-old Liam Young, who was diagnosed with a rare form of Stage 4 leukemia last April, got the chance to throw the first pitch at the Indians game against the Texas Rangers Monday night.

Casey Cares, a local organization that caters to children and their families battling a critical illness, helped Liam step on the mound for the pitch of a lifetime.

Liam spent six months at Akron Children's Hospital receiving daily treatment. He's feeling much better and is in remission.
