Many people have shown their support for the Cleveland Indians and now Ohio Governor John Kasich is getting in on the fun with a friendly wager against the Governor of Illinois.
On Monday, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner extended a bet to Kasich through a video on Twitter. "I'll bet you that if the Cleveland Indians were victorious, I'll bet you I'll deliver you a extra large, Chicago style deep dish style pizza and a case of terrific Chicago-brewed microbrew beer."
Kasich responded with his own video saying "if the Cubs 108 year drought comes to an end, I'll send him some of the fan favorites from Cleveland."
His office later said that by 'fan favorites' Kasich meant beer from Great Lake's Brewing Company, Cleveland's Famous Bertman Original Ballpark Mustard and other local products, although they are "optimistic they are on the right side of this wager."
