Jose Ramirez nominated for American League MVP

Cleveland Indians Gold Glove-nominated third baseman Jose Ramirez has been nominated for American League MVP. 

Ramirez played third base for most of the season. 

He is up against Red Sox outfielder Mookie Beets and Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout. 

The winner will be announced Thursday, Nov. 15.
