Cleveland Cavaliers release schedule for next season, and the home opener is against Pacers

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers released the schedule for their 50th NBA season. The Cavs' home opener will take place on Oct. 26 against the Indiana Pacers in the newly updated Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Also worth noting the Cavs:

  • Start the season on the road against the Orlando Magic on Oct. 23
  • Make one national television appearance on ESPN on Friday, Nov. 8 at Washington
  • Get LeBron and the Lakers on March 26, which just so happens to also be the Indians home opener
  • Will be on Fox Sports Ohio, which airs every game, minus the game that will be on ESPN
  • Tickets for all 41 home games and two preseason home games go on sale August 16
