EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Cleveland Browns versatile lineman Chris Hubbard left Sunday Night’s game with a knee injury and will not return, the team announced.
He sustained the injury in the first quarter and was able to walk off the field and into the locker rooms for further evaluation. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game just before halftime.
Hubbard was filling in at right guard for Wyatt Teller, who was ruled out Friday with an ankle injury.
With the backup right guard out, the Browns turned to rookie center Nick Harris to fill in for Hubbard.
Harris played guard his first two season at Washington before switching to center his junior year.
Hubbard tweeted after the game thanking fans for their concerns and prayers.
Thank you guys so much for your prayers and concerns, I will be good! Love you guys! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
