CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns general manager and a former quarterback are being considered for the College Football Hall of Fame.

General Manager John Dorsey was linebacker for the University of Connecticut.

Dorsey was a two-time Yankee Conference Defensive Player of the Year and led the Huskies in tackles from 1981 to 1983.

This was Dorsey's fifth time on the ballot since 2015.

Former quarterback Tim Couch was also nominated. He played football at the University of Kentucky.

Couch was the number one overall pick in the 1999 draft and had 4,275 total yards for the Wildcats in three seasons.

The 2020 Hall of Fame class will be announced in January 2020 before the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans.
