CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns training camp is officially over and a new outstanding rookie has been crowned.
This year, linebacker Mack Wilson won the coveted Maurice Bassett Award.
The award was named in 1985 in honor of the running back, who play for the Browns from 1954-56.
Every year the media chooses who wins the award and Wilson was the clear cut winner.
Wilson was the only player in the league with two interceptions in the opening week of the preseason and returned one for a touchdown.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield won the award last season.
