Thomas, 33, told Browns analyst Tony Grossi the decision is "difficult."
Joe Thomas admitted tonight he goes back & forth on whether to come back another year or retire. “It’s difficult.” Meantime, he confirmed he has auditioned for TV jobs.

Thomas is a ten-time Pro Bowler and six-time first-team All-Pro tackle. He only played seven games in 2017, then suffered a season-ending triceps injury. He also missed the Pro Bowl for the first time since being drafted third overall by the Browns in 2007.
According to Over The Cap, Thomas is due a base salary of $10.3 million in 2018.
