CLEVELAND — The Browns re-signed cornerback Brian Allen Monday, giving him another chance in Cleveland after signing him late in the 2020 season.

Allen signed with the Browns originally from the Bengals' practice squad on Jan. 4, but as he joined late in the season he was inactive for both playoff games against the Steelers and the Chiefs.

The cornerback is in his third NFL season out of Utah, drafted by the Steelers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In his three years in the league, Allen has appeared in 17 games and has spent time on the Steelers, 49ers, and Bengals.
