CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns signed a defensive tackle to their practice squad Wednesday.
Sheldon Day, who is in his fifth NFL season, is the newest addition to the Browns practice squad roster.
Day was originally drafted out of Notre Dame by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
In the course of his five years in the league, Day has played in 60 career games with the Jaguars, the San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts, where last played.
Over those five years, Day has recorded 55 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, six sacks and five pass breakups.
Day has played in four games this season with the Colts and has recorded two tackles and a pass defended.
