CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns announced last year that the team would have a new look for the 2020 season and on Thursday, the team tweeted a video teasing the release of the new uniforms.

Last year, the team said the uniforms would embrace a “nothing fancy” mindset and many assumed would be an homage to the traditional look after hearing from the team that the uniforms would "embrace the team's rich tradition and its unique distinction as the only NFL franchise with orange and brown as its two primary colors."

The teaser video, released Thursday, showed flashes of those traditional jerseys, including shots of what appeared to be legendary running back Jim Brown and linebacker Clay Matthews.

The numbers flashed to in the video were bold and not outlined and the sleeves had the traditional stripes like Brown and Matthews wore in their time with the team.

Stay on the lookout for the official release, which the team only defined as "coming soon.”
